HSE Industrial Facilities (HSE Installations industrielles)

The matter "HSE Industrial Installations (HSE: Hygiene-Safety-Environment)" intended for second-year students of the academic license in Process Engineering (third semester), aims to identify and assess the risk, implement appropriate prevention methods and monitor the reality and effectiveness of the measures put in place.

Chemical Thermodynamics (Thermodynamique Chimique)

The objective of this educational space, intended for second-year students of the academic license in Process Engineering (fourth semester), is to provide courses and exercises on the three principles of thermodynamics in order to apply and master them. In addition, the matter taught is the study of binary equilibria, chemical potential, binary diagrams and real gases.

It should also be noted that prior knowledge of Mathematics (Differential Equations, …) and Basic Thermodynamics, seen in the second semester of the first academic year, are strongly recommended.

The study of: techniques of information , expression and communication is a subject of great interest to students. This course imparts basic skills such as effective communication and information analysis, which are crucial in today's world where access to information is abundant but not always reliable.
Research and writing skills are also honed in this course, providing students with the ability to express their ideas clearly and persuasively.

Strong communication skills are highly demanded in various professions such as business, journalism, law, education and many more, making this course valuable for students looking to advance their careers.

As the world becomes more complex and interconnected, the ability to communicate and express ideas effectively is becoming more important. Thus, by studying this course, students are equipped with the skills to meet the challenges of the future.

The aim of this course is to enable the student to have fundamental understanding of genesis of fossil fuels and to overpower the nomenclature and specifications of different oil products as well as to know the main processes of refining and petrochemical and their products.

Ce cours doit permettre à l’étudiant d’acquérir un niveau de langue assez significatif à même de lui permettre d’utiliser un document scientifique et parler de sa capacité et sa filière dans un anglais, tous du moins, avec une certaine aisance et clarté.

This course “Notions of transfer phenomena” is intended for second-year students of the academic license in Process Engineering (fourth semester), to acquire the basic concepts of transfer phenomena.

Transfer phenomena, encompassing heat, mass, and momentum, hold significant importance in the realms of science and technology, as they manifest in various industrial fields. This course aims to impart essential principles for dealing with issues concerning heat, mass, and momentum transfer, improving a comprehensive understanding of these phenomena. The program deleves into fundamental laws as well as introducing students to the calculations of the different flux.
