Unit Operations II (Opérations unitaires II)

The goal of the matter "Unit Operations II", intended for first-year students of the academic master’s degree in materials process engineering (second semester), is to acquire the basic knowledge in mechanical and diffusional unit operations, separation and size adjustment involving solids, explain the concepts underlying the different operations of separation and adjustment of size and shape and make the student able to choose and size the type of equipment appropriate to a given situation.

Objectifs de l’enseignement: 

Développer la sensibilisation des étudiants aux principes éthiques. 

Les initier aux règles qui régissent la vie à l’université (leurs droits et obligations vis-à-vis de la communauté universitaire) et dans le monde du travail. 

Les sensibiliser au respect et à la valorisation de la propriété intellectuelle. 

Leur expliquer les risques des maux moraux telle que la corruption et à la manière de les combattre.

Applied Thermodynamics (Thermodynamique Appliquée)

The objective of the matter "Applied Thermodynamics", intended for first-year students of the academic master's degree in Materials Process Engineering, is to know turbomachinery, psychrometry and air humidification, and apply thermodynamics to irreversible processes and power cycles, also to refrigeration and heat pumps cycles.
