Ce module vise à initier Les étudiants de 2e année en génie civil a une  compréhension rigoureuse des fondements du béton armé, tant sur le plan matériel que structurel.
À travers une progression thématique, il aborde les propriétés physiques et mécaniques du béton, les prescriptions réglementaires (BAEL 91/99, CBA 93), ainsi que le comportement des sections soumises à des sollicitations simples : traction, compression.

Une attention particulière est accordée aux notions d’adhérence, d’ancrage, d’états limites et au dimensionnement conforme aux normes en vigueur.

This lecture explores the techniques of information expression and communication, focusing on how data is conveyed effectively across various mediums. It examines both traditional and digital communication methods, highlighting the importance of clarity and precision. Students will learn about encoding, decoding, and the role of context in communication. The course emphasizes improving communication skills in the modern information landscape.

It is about refreshing and consolidating the basic level of students in English in order to familiarize them with the scientific and technical subjects taught in this language (in oral or written form) and also to improve their in-depth understanding. This will allow them to confront and apply their learning to everyday situations by providing them with a comprehensive education. This training therefore offers them the opportunity to have the intermediate level which corresponds to levels B1 and B2. The latter follows the elementary level and precedes the operational level defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR).

The Construction Materials 1 module in semester 3 introduces students to the physico-mechanical characteristics of construction materials. It covers the history, classification, and properties of construction materials, aggregates, binders, and mortars. Students will learn about different types of aggregates and binders (aerial and hydraulic), as well as the components of cements and mortars. Practical work includes measuring density, water content, and grading of materials, along with testing cement and mortar properties. The module includes assessments through exams and continuous evaluation, with academic references provided for further study.

Ce cours est destiné aux étudiants de deuxième année ingénieurs Génie Civil, il a pour objectif de présenter aux étudiants les aspects techniques et les technologique de l’opération de construction les plus utilisées et axées surtout sur la réalisation et le chantier.

This course handout for the "Geology" module is intended for second-year students in Civil Engineering. The main objective of this course is to introduce students to the study of the Earth, its composition, processes, and history. Students will acquire the skills needed to read and interpret a geological map, as well as to understand geotechnical issues, including the geophysical methods used.
